It is my pleasure to bring greetings to you on behalf of the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated    , Theta Xi Omega Chapter, located in LaGrange, Georgia.  Thank you for visiting our website.  

 

Established in 1908, and organized on the campus of Howard University, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated   is the oldest sorority established by African American women in our nation. Under the current leadership of our 31st International President and CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, our 2022-2026 International Program Initiatives; “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood” the focus is on the following areas: Strengthening Our Sisterhood, Empowering Our Families, Building Our Economic Wealth, Enhancing Our Environment, Advocating for Social Justice, and Uplifting Our Local Community. 

 

I am humbled and honored to serve as the 15th President of Theta Xi Omega Chapter, which was chartered on March 11, 1967, by seventeen women with a vision.  For over 55 years, our span of service has been over four counties:   Coweta, Harris, Meriwether, and Troup.  

 

Thank you in advance for supporting our efforts and activities to address the needs of our communities through “service to all mankind.”
